We have reserved for your enjoyment 1,600 acres of prime wild pheasant hunting land. We also have friendly guides and a newly remodeled hunting lodge. Let us provide you with a pheasant hunt you won't forget.

The Pheasant Hunt
Your pheasant hunting package will include:

• Daily guided hunt and land
• Clay pigeon shoot
• Dog kennel

Package Price: $275 per hunter per hunting day.

Off Season Reservations
Putnam's Hunting Shack is also a great little place to get away during the off-season from January through the 3rd weekend in October. We rent the Shack out to many different groups for family reunions and anniversaries, and for people attending the Mitchell Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo, Dakota Fest, South Dakota State Fair, and folks heading to and from the annual Sturgis Bike Rally. You will find it a comfortable, homey place where you can sit back and relax.

NEW - More Lodging!

New this season are 2 more lodging facilities! They're located within 1/2 block of our main lodge. They each feature 3 bedrooms (for sleeping up to 6), a kitchen, and a washing machine and dryer. These units make great places for hunters just needing a place to stay. You don't need to hunt with us to stay with us!

Also new are 8 camper hookups, located in the same area as our other lodging facilities. Each hookup includes sewer, water and electricity.
